This is my perfect planet: Blue sunny skies most of the time, shallow turquoise-coloured warm seas, beaches everywhere, lifeless and desertic. A warm world of sand, sun, sea, sky and nothing else. Even the continents are just giant sandbars. Oh, there are short and low mountain ranges, but most of the terrain is sand.
Think about this: In many parts the slope towards deeper waters it's almost horizontal, resulting in "deserts" which are actually warm and transparent knee-deep oceans. You can be standing there, lost and surrounded by thousands of square kilometers of the same kind of that deadly, beautiful and strange landscape.
The best parts to visit are the thousands of sand islands or the zones with more normal and steep beaches. It's actually a very nice place if you don't get lost on those oceanic deserts.
